Ever have an FO that had such a strong personality you felt compelled to address it by name? Without further ado, I give you Prufrock: a tatty, middle-aged, overly educated, crinkling around the eyes when he smiles kind of blanket.
From the moment he came off the needles he’s been gulping black coffee, flipping between the History Channel and CNN, and vacillating over whether shaving his head and growing a goatee will make him seem hip enough to flirt with the sassy red throw in my bedroom….or should he pierce his ear like Harrison Ford instead?
He hates medical TV shows but he’ll have to get used to House because he’s going to spend every Tuesday night the rest of the winter keeping me warm while I’m curled up on the couch knitting and cursing the 5pm sunsets.

Pattern: none, it’s worked in your basic 4×2 ribbing in strips, which were then seamed together.
Needles: size 11 circulars
Yarn: Bernat’s Denim Style in Jordache.

LOL – it reads like the introduction to a pattern for knitty! Looks cozy.

Nice. It looks cozy. I’ve never met that sort of fella myself, but where on earth did you get the name Prufrock? Wouldn’t he be more of a Flint, or a Garret?

It’s from a TS Eliot poem – The Lovesong of J Alfred Prufrock.
