Welcome to the first edition of crochet carnival! Woot!
First up, we have several tutorials and a pattern to inspire you to pick up those hooks:
Kim Werker of Crochet Me shows all of us granny square lovers and those just learning about them How To Spray Block Crochet Squares.
And Fátima Barata from Atelier Lady Julia gives us an opportunity to learn to crochet with wire, with her “Wirefalls” necklace tutorial.
Then Chris sends us over to Girl on the Rocks for a lesson on re-purposing that ends up with a cute Earth Day Daisy pin.
And Noreen Crone-Findlay of Hankering for Yarn presents a pattern for another earth-friendly creation: Crocheted Market Bag: Filet Lace Dancing Lady (Goddess).
Then we get a glimpse of the crochet process with a work-in progress from Preety: Ripple Blanket & Other Things.
And finally, two gorgeous finished pieces: Elisa Purnell of Yarn Tails‘ beautiful shawl; and coming full circle with the grannies again we end this issue with Anastacia Knits‘ Granny Afghan #1.
A huge thank you to everyone who submitted an entry and remember, you can submit your blog article to the next edition of crochet carnival! using our carnival submission form. It’ll be hosted by me again. The deadline is June 1st and it’ll be online June 15th. Happy hookin’!

I finally had the time to take a look at all the participations. Congratulations! It’s a great Carnival!
We’ll be linking back to you as soon as I have some free time to write a little post. Many of our blog’s visitors are looking for Crochet ideas, so I think our audience will find a link to this Carnival a very interesting and useful idea.
